Strengthening social participation through encounter and empowerment
One Future e.V. promotes intercultural understanding and integration by enabling young people to jointly develop their own projects and put them into practice in everyday life. The association, founded as a student initiative, has already received multiple awards for its commitment.
At the core of the programme is an intensive multiplier seminar in Berlin. Here, 25 participants aged 18 to 30 acquire key competences in project management and team leadership, develop their own initiatives and receive methodological tools for active civic engagement. Workshops, group work and practical phases support them in concrete project planning, funding strategies and presenting their ideas.
The seminar is followed by a ten-month mentoring phase: experienced mentors work with the young people on an individual basis, provide feedback and support them in building networks. A sustainable multiplier effect is created through follow-up projects and an active alumni network that ensures continuous exchange, visibility and connectivity.
