Economic and financial policy issues as a peer-to-peer programme
The project aims to strengthen financial resilience across Germany, focusing on people with a migrant background and young women from deprived backgrounds. Participants are specifically educated about the risks of the digital consumer world and learn to make responsible, sustainable financial decisions.
The initiative is designed as a peer-to-peer programme: young people are trained as multipliers and independently lead workshops and seminars for their peers.
By using accessible, target group-oriented formats and educational materials, the project actively breaks down barriers to access in the field of economic and financial education and ensures that the diverse perspectives of younger generations are represented.
As part of the project, participants receive modular training and ongoing support in dealing with finances. Both digital and in-person knowledge exchange formats are used to strengthen democratic engagement and promote long-lasting networks.
