Empowering children through experiences in nature

“Experience nature – empower children” is an inclusive education and leisure project for children and young people aged between 6 and 16 from all social backgrounds. The aim is to enable them to have positive experiences of nature, regardless of their origin or financial circumstances, to promote social skills and to strengthen individual strengths through creative, sporting and community-oriented activities.

The children experience nature up close while playing, doing crafts, playing sports or caring for animals. They are accompanied by educational specialists with additional qualifications in experiential and forest education.

The activities are deliberately designed to be low-threshold and inclusive. Children with disabilities or behavioural issues are also specifically included. In addition, the project is a placement centre for young offenders, who can develop new perspectives here through educational support.
