Creating more opportunities for the future by promoting digital skills

The aim of the project is to teach disadvantaged children and young people in Duisburg-Marxloh digital skills, improve their educational opportunities and prepare them early on for active participation in the digital society. The focus is on integration, equal opportunities and future orientation.

The ReDI School offers playful training courses in basic digital literacy, programming, media design, cyber security and artificial intelligence – adapted to the language level and life realities of the participants. At the heart of the project is the “digital driving licence” for grades 3 to 6. After successful participation, the children receive a certificate documenting the digital skills they have acquired.

In addition, ReDI School develops career orientation modules for grade 10 pupils to show young people the prospects for digital careers.
